Social Media Strategy

A Fun Twist to Corporate Messaging

Every brand needs a voice, and I have been fortunate to create the voice behind Lorien’s brand. One of my favorite elements to my job was crafting social media content that not only align with Lorien’s brand, but showcase the vibrant culture within each community.

Below you will see a few of my personal favorite photos, videos, and of course captions!

GOAT Yoga

If you have ever been into a senior living facility, you know that the staff is the heart of the community. During Nursing Assistants Week 2025, Lorien Taneytown hosted a goat yoga for their Nursing Assistants to have a breath of fresh air during their work day.

Social media trends happen fast, and become outdated even faster. At Lorien, some social media trends were not appropriate for our brand, but when I found a way to use trending audio, dances, or ideas that aligned with Lorien’s messaging, it brought engagement and a fun challenge to my work.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Making a Difference

Holidays and awareness months are an important part of brand voice on social media. I value mission-oriented work, and when Lorien Health Services began to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October of 2023, I was happy to help spread the word on social media. This post highlights all of the work that was done to support Breast Cancer research, giving a strong yet warm voice in the caption.

Community Partnerships

Social media is a great way to connect. Managing Lorien’s social media, I quickly learned how important it is to connect with other businesses on social media, helping to build partnerships. This post highlights a fun resident activity in partnership with the Humane Society
